Trevor has been a professional dancer for the last 22 years where he worked with many international ballet companies and appeared in musical theatre shows around the globe. Throughout his dance career Trevor always turned to Pilates to strengthen his dance technique and to prevent and repair injuries. He has been teaching Pilates for over 15 years and is passionate about physical fitness, health and holistic wellbeing.
He holds comprehensive Pilates certifications through several institutions including Peak Pilates in Boulder, USA and Body Control Pilates, UK.
Trevor is a Master Instructor and Teacher Trainer for Peak Pilates and has also presented the Peak Pilates Mve Chair and Reformer program at fitness conventions across the UK and internationally.
Trevor is also a Level 3 Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist and a RYT 200 Hour Yoga Teacher.
Today our Expert Trevor is going to take you through a 45-minute pilates workout focused on mobility. You will be mobilising your joints and your spine, feeling restored and more flexible at the end of your session. No special equipment needed, however Trevor recommends using a cushion.
The focus of this 45-minute Pilates session is: Posture. Trevor will be showing you how to release these muscles that get tight from seating at a desk or in front of a computer. No Special equipment needed.
Listen to your body and take everything at your own pace as Trevor gently takes you through this 60-minute Restorative Yoga session. As he will explain, this type of yoga is all bout releasing the connective tissue and restoring mobility to the body.
The focus of this Restorative Yoga session is: "gentle". Trevor will show you how going gently restores flexibility and mobility. He suggests you to use as many props as you can: blankets, pillows and yoga blocks to ease the body gently into the poses, allowing the nervous system to relax.
This session's focus is: breathing. How to breath and make the most of your exercises? In this 45-minute class, Trevor will be showing you how to use the breath to enhance your movements. All you need is a mat.
Move at your own pace in this Beginner Vinyasa session. Trevor's method will be much gentler than a regular Vinyasa, breaking the poses down and moving a little slower during the flow. Equipment needed: a mat and a brick.
All you need is your mat and yourself! Trevor will be taking you through a nice and gentle 60-minute vinyasa flow, where you will be focusing on some beginner version of the poses. Equipment needed: a mat and a brick.
Join our Expert Trevor for this intense Beginner Vinyasa workout: in the first portion of the class, you will focus on flow; in the second portion, you will be holding the poses a little bit longer to get that deeper stretch for the muscles. Equipment needed: a mat and a cushion.
In this 45-minute session, Trevor's focus will be ankles, shoulder, knees, hips and these little joints that run up and down your spine. All you need is a mat and a wall or chair to support you in the standing poses towards the end of the session.
